Position

We’re currently looking for a candidate for our client in the technology industry

Project: One handling flight travel requests from travel agents, online agencies, and airlines, to empower their search engines and agents to offer the most convenient flight options in the lowest price. This is complex organism, consisting of several components developed optimal way mainly in C++, is maintaining a rate over 7.000 transactions per second and is hosted on 3000+ servers in the cloud. The complexity of business logic requires constant focus on code, design optimization and staying in touch with newest technologies to manage growing demand for processing power and low response times.

Type of work: hybrid from Cracow 3 days per week preferred (we are also open to remote arrangements)

Salary offered

1200 – 1500PLN NET MD (we are open for MID+/Senior/Team Lead)

You will be successful in this role if:

  • You have at least 5 years of related experience 
  • Experience in fast paced Software Development in Agile environment. 
  • Expertise in advanced C++ programming and solutioning 
  • Knowledge of programming in UNIX/Linux environment 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 
  • Very good knowledge of CMake, STL, Boost libraries, MPL, object-oriented design, and design patterns 
  • Knowledge of database programming 
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal, and Polish on a communicative level 
  • Self-disciplined and commitment-oriented

  • Developing, coding, testing, and debugging complex software solutions and enhancements to existing products
    Designing, implementing, and improving applications using modern technologies and best development practices
  • Analyzing complex technical challenges and selecting appropriate solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Ensuring high coding standards, code quality, maintainability, and best engineering practices
  • Collaborating with architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Providing technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing across development teams
  • Supporting teams in adopting new technologies, improving competencies, and following engineering standards
  • Contributing to product and business decisions by providing technical expertise and context
  • Taking ownership of technical solutions and driving continuous improvement within projects
