Position

We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of System Engineer (he/she) for our client from the oil&gas industry.

Offered salary

Salary: from 12.000 to 14.500 PLN gross/month, depending on experience and competences.

You’re ideal for this role if you:

  • Have electrical or mechanical engineering background, preferably Degree qualified in relevant subject (e.g electrical, electronics, telecommunications, mechanical etc.) or equivalent knowledge and experience. Understanding of physics of fluids (liquids, and gases) and thermodynamics.  
  • Have solid knowledge of electrical power systems, transmission line theory, and communication systems
  • Are proficient in engineering mathematics
  • Have good time management skills and can work to tight schedules
  • Have strong English communication skills, including report writing and presentations 

Nice to have:

  • Subsea Oil & Gas experience would be beneficial 
  • Familiarity with relevant national and international standards relevant to subsea controls systems. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:​

  • Perform preliminary and detailed electrical performance analyses (power and communication systems) during tendering and project execution phases
  • Conduct modelling and simulation of electrical and hydraulic systems for subsea and surface applications
  • Analyze system performance under various operating conditions (best/worst case scenarios, full-field expansion)
  • Evaluate performance, stability, and operability of subsea systems (e.g., PCS, IWOCS, umbilicals, manifolds, subsea trees)
  • Identify technical risks, system limitations, and key performance parameters
  • Prepare and maintain performance reports and technical documentation
  • Collaborate closely with system engineers to support design and component selection
  • Support root cause analysis and technical investigations
  • Contribute to R&D activities and new product development initiatives
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and suppliers on technical matters
  • Provide operational support during project execution and system lifecycle
