Responsibilities:
- Migration of existing code from Spark 2.1 to Spark 3.0 & from Scala 2.11 to 2.12
- Migration of shell scripts to python
- Maintain & Implement new features
- Analyse specifications and define user requirements for the development of new (or upgrade of existing) software solutions
- Model, design and implement databases
- Design systems and perform feasibility studies
Technical requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with following technologies
- Experience with programming languages: Scala, Python, Bash
- Experience with Big Data technology: Apache Spark, Azure,
- Knowledge of Data Warehouse Databricks
- Knowledge of CI/CD tool Jenkins
- English: advanced (B2/C1)
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Java EE and Front-end technologies (Angular 8+) is a real plus
- Quality Assurance processes knowledge
