Embedded Software Engineer for Automotive (100% remote)

Rate: 800-1600​ net per day + VAT/B2B, possibility of UoP employment​

About the projects / CC:​
At the Engineering Competence Center, we carry out services and projects for the automotive, rail and oil & gas sectors, among others. Specialized teams of engineers work within project groups and competence groups, whose activities we manage. We also implement training and certification programs as part of improving the engineering competence of our consultants.​

Responsibilities:

• Design, development and testing of embedded systems software components
• Analysis of project requirements
• Proposing new tools, solutions, methodologies to accomplish assigned tasks
• Debugging and troubleshooting issues that arise within the project
• Creating and reviewing project documentation
• Maintaining and improving application performance on all desired versions
• Participating in meetings and collaborating with others involved in the project

Requirements:

• Requirement min. 3 years (Regular) or 5 years (Senior) commercial experience in embedded systems software development
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, Embedded C
• Practical knowledge of Linux and/or QNX operating system
• Analytical thinking skills
• Ability to solve problems and propose solutions
• Knowledge of English to communicate freely in an international work environment
  

Nice to have:

• Practical experience using AUTOSAR tools (Vector DaVinci Configurator/Developer, CANoe, Mentor VSx, EB Tresos or others)
• Knowledge of communication buses (CAN, LIN, Ethernet or FlexRay)
• Previous experience in designing and programming microcontrollers and processors
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems, e.g. FreeRTOS, OSEK
• Knowledge of ASPICE software development standard
• Passion for software development and interest in new automotive technologies
• Experience in the development of embedded systems for the automotive industry
