Localization: Warsaw/hybrid

Responsibilities:

The Compression & Steam Technology Lead System Engineer will:

  • Be in charge of systems definition and integration, including seal gas, steam system, lube oil and process equipment selection on reciprocating compressor application
  • Develop predictive system design through modeling and numerical automation (Matlab/Simulink, FlowMaster, Hysis) to foresee transient behaviors and define high level control logic
  • Lead System DR (DR1/DR2) assuring action are completed in time and in quality
  • Work close to Projects Engineers and facilitate smooth projects execution on R&P, Modules, LNG, OOP
  • Provide wide expertise on steam turbine, electric motor driven trains and reciprocating compressor auxiliary systems
  • Provide deep knowledge on fluid-systems physics behavior to serve steam turbines and centrifugal compressors products
  • Build relations with all involved Engineering, Streams, Sourcing and Field Service functions in TPS Organization
  • Contribute to quality, standardization and engineering initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with required external and internal interfaces to ensure that customer requirements are understood and being achieved;
  • Ensure compliance initiatives and training requirements are implemented.

Requirements:

  • Master Degree or Ph. D in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Aeronautical or equivalent;
  • EU Work Permit;
  • Effective team building and problem solving abilities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Fluent English

  • Familiarity with a variety of engineering and manufacturing areas

  • Ability to lead a continuous collaboration behavior driven by common task to win as a single Organization
  • Six Sigma or Black Belt Certification are a plus
