QA Automation Engineer

We are currently looking for a QA Automation Engineer for our client from the banking industry.

💰 Salary: Up to 1100 zł nett B2B + VAT/Day (to negotiate)

🌎 Localization: Gdynia (Hybrid/Remote – to negotiate)

Responsibilities:

• Assistance in creating automation test strategy plans for all releases on the application, using standards and methodologies defined by the organization
• Self-development of automated tests and management of the test repository
• Test results documentation and assistance with defect management
• Automated test case execution as per the testing deadlines for the project and report progress of test execution as per organization standards
• Testing support to resolve production issues
• Expansion and development of existing framework to support new technologies (if required)
• Utilization of best practices with test tools and automation frameworks to avoid redundancy
• Designing scenarios for system, integration and acceptance tests
• Supporting manual testers in creating automated tests

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on test automation experience in domains: GUI based (Web), service-based level (REST), backend (DB)
• Coding skills in Java
• Knowledge and experience in solutions supporting test automation (Selenium WebDriver / RestAssured / Cucumber / Postman / Chrome devtools)
• Fluent in using GIT
• Basic experience with SQL queries preparation
• Skills with data manipulation using various data formats (e.g. XML, CSV, JSON) would be an additional asset
• Nice to have an experience in working with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins/Bamboo/Docker)
• Skills in basic performance tests (jMeter) would be additional asset
