Responsibilities:
- Great knowledge of Shopify platform, features, limitations and workarounds
- Lead the Shopify stores in the company
- Prepare technical specifications and discuss possible solutions with development team
- Plan solutions and recommend integrations for new requirements drafted by the sales and marketing
- Research and recommend new solutions
- Scope project and provide accurate estimates for the implementation of features
- Support on front-end and back-end incidents
- Perform all necessary testing to make sure that all web standards are met
Requirements:
- 3+ years work experience in web development
- Experience creating Shopify Themes, experience with Shopify Apps
- Experience working on large, complex systems will be an asset
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Understanding of SEO, Semantic tagging and google analytics/GTM/campaigns tagging
- Ability to take extreme ownership over your work
