Our team as a result of merging many smaller business areas into two self-sufficient groups: finance and non-finance. Each team consisted of people in the roles of area experts for each of the business area, caring for the quality of individual modules (design review, peer review, consulting business solutions). Our goal was to ensure the smooth and safe development of the BW system used by one of the customer’s departments. The system was constantly adapted to the changing requirements of the client, with simultaneous constant attention to proper performance. The biggest challenge was to rebuild the team from a dispersed, highly ossified watterfall manner, to a rapidly adapting, Scrum-inspired manner in a demanding SAP environment.
