Project description
The project consisted in migrating the client’s tools to the Google Cloud environment. For this purpose, we set up three Scrum teams, whose task was to rewrite the tools from the currently unsupported and hardly scalable technology to Java 11. The aim of the project was to reduce maintenance costs and extend the life of the tools. Some roles were shared – which allowed for savings and significantly improved the transfer of knowledge between Teams. The service had to be implemented within 6 weeks from the moment of ordering the project.

The project consisted of correcting errors, optimizing and extending the functionality of the client’s application. The Astek Poland team was also responsible for developing the tool with document archiving and analytical modules.

2nd and 3rd line IT support
The goal of the project was to create teams and take over from the client’s 2nd and 3rd line of support in the area of handling and resolving IT requests for internal users located in: France, Spain, Germany, Scandinavia, Italy and the UK.
