Position

We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of IT Network Procurement Manager for our client from the pharmacetical industry.

The Senior IT Procurement Manager (Interim) is responsible for strategic management of IT procurement across categories such as network, telecom, hardware, and infosec, with a large global spend. The role involves leading end-to-end sourcing processes (RFX) and negotiating global, multi-year contracts with key IT vendors. The position is accountable for delivering cost savings and driving cost optimization within the managed category. A key aspect of the role is close collaboration with stakeholders (IT, Finance, Legal) as well as supplier relationship and risk management (SRM). It is a high-impact role requiring experience in a global environment and the ability to deliver measurable results quickly. 

Offered salary

Salary: from 1360 to 1440 PLN net/day, depending on experience and competences.

You’re ideal for this role if you:

  • have 10+ years of experience in global IT procurement and category management
  • have a proven track record in leading complex RFX processes and negotiating multi-year contracts with Tier 1 IT vendors
  • have strong knowledge of network, telecom, hardware, and infosec categories, including pricing and licensing models
  • can effectively manage and influence senior stakeholders across IT, Finance, and Legal
  • have experience in supplier relationship management (SRM) and risk mitigation
  • demonstrate a strong commercial mindset with a focus on delivering cost savings and value
  • can operate effectively in a fast-paced, interim environment and deliver quick, measurable results

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:​

  • leading end-to-end sourcing processes (RFX), from requirements definition to supplier selection and contract execution
  • negotiating global, multi-year IT contracts with key vendors
  • managing relationships with stakeholders across IT, Finance, and Legal
  • driving cost optimization initiatives and delivering savings targets
  • overseeing supplier performance, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation plans
  • supporting the development and execution of IT category strategy and annual planning
  • ensuring compliance with procurement policies, governance frameworks, and internal processes
