Position

We’re currently looking for a candidate for our client in the pharmaceutical industry.

You will be successful in this role if:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or have equivalent practical experience
• Bring 7–10 years of experience as a Solution Architect in a regulated or highly structured environment
• Have hands-on knowledge of SQL databases, relational data structures, and reporting systems
• Possess proven experience in system integration projects (MES, ERP, LIMS, PLM, or related)
• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, global team setup
• Are able to de-escalate discussions, maintain productivity, and keep focus on outcomes
• Demonstrate expertise across multiple technology domains (e.g., networks, systems, databases, security)
• Quickly understand the functions and capabilities of new technologies
• Keep yourself up to date with trends and emerging technologies
• Can develop and articulate a clear vision for one or more technology areas
• Have experience creating architecture designs using formal frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
• Understand both long-term (“big picture”) and short-term implications of technical decisions
• Show strong leadership skills and experience working with large or diverse groups
• Navigate effectively across organizational boundaries
• Can frame complex issues and persuade a wide-ranging audience
• Are available between 3–7 PM CET for collaboration across EU and US time zones
• Are fluent in English, both spoken and written

Tasks waiting for you:

• Design and document solution architectures for Emerson PKM (core application), integrations across MES, LIMS, ERP, and PLM systems, as well as reporting capabilities, ensuring data consistency and interoperability
• Define data models, interface specifications, and integration patterns that connect business requirements with technical implementation across all solution domains
• Create architecture decision records and detailed technical documentation for PKM configurations, integration solutions, and reporting needs
• Facilitate alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure shared understanding of the architectural design, data flows, and system capabilities
• Lead architecture reviews, support solution validation activities, and assist in testing related to PKM, integrations, and reporting deliverables
• Drive continuous improvement of solution standards, architectural patterns, and best practices across the Enterprise Recipe Management program
