Position

We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of (F/M) Data Engineer (Snowflake, ETL, BI) for our client from the biotechnology industry.

Offered salary

Salary: from 800 to 1000 PLN net/day, depending on experience and competences.

You’re ideal for this role if you:

  • Have experience working in a regulated (GxP) environment.
  • Have strong SQL skills and solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
  • Have hands-on experience with Snowflake (or Databricks) and ETL tools (Alteryx preferred; DBT is a plus).
  • Are familiar with Git (GitLab/GitHub) and basic CI/CD practices.
  • Have experience with Tableau (or are willing to learn).
  • Communicate fluently in English.
  • Can work independently, prioritize tasks, and provide realistic effort estimates. 

Nice to have:

  • Experience in ITIL / SLA-driven environments or incident response.
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality tools (e.g., Collibra, Monte Carlo, Immuta).
  • Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC) and streaming architectures. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:​

  • Resolving and documenting minor bugs with full traceability and compliance (Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Optimizing Snowflake and Alteryx data pipelines by reducing technical debt and improving performance.
  • Migrating ETL workflows from Alteryx to Snowflake (SQL / PySpark), including job scheduling and logic redesign.
  • Converting batch-based ETL processes into Change Data Capture (CDC) / streaming solutions.
  • Maintaining and enhancing dashboards to ensure performance, stability, and business readability.
  • Implementing automated regression tests and supporting CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployments.
